Not too bad for a first try, but can any of you knitters out there figure out why my ribknit looks better from the inside than the outside?
Its also fun to say ribknit a bunch of times in a row. Ribknit ribknit ribknit. See? Wish me luck on the mate, mate!

when you do the rib, try doing either your purl or knit backward, that is, if you usually go behind the needle, go in front. That twists the stitch a little and makes it look neater.
reminds me of the socks that Mom made for us...some of which have survived my bony heels to this day!!
