So I finally finished up two knitting projects that had been hanging around for far too long! Sheldon the turtle had been waiting around for eyes for at least two weeks, poor babe. Here he is enjoying the scenery from our back porch...
showing off his alluring curvaceous figure...
and gettin' in some quality tanning time au naturel!
The Superbaby Rockabilly Sweater finally got its weaving in done, whew! (AND buttons sewn on!) That took far longer than I imagined, it seems to be the biggest drawback to colorwork, huh? But wowzers, I really like it! How long d'ya think it would take to create an adult size o' inferno?
Hope y'all are staying warm n cozy, I personally am loving the Christmas music on the stereo, fire in the woodstove, and fuzzy slippers on my feet! For all you Tank Boy fans out there I've got some great baby shots that I'll try to get posted asap.

I can't tell if those turtle eyes and sweater buttons are plastic or what, but please double stitch them on so Tank Boy can't get them off too easily! Nice work, wouldn't it be cool if we could change turtles outer shell? Say for some with fish painted on them??
Love,
Dad
