The Flight Of The Suziebee

Okay, we are having an issue here.

And here is our current attempt at kill, Kill, KILLING these pests...

See, they seem to have discovered that our house is a veritable font of sweet things to eat. This all started with an appalling attack on those blasted hummingbird feeders. (Although it does seem logical in retrospect that they would like red sugar syrup, the thought initially never crossed my mind.) And then there was an unfortunate incident with a spilled honeyed ice tea. Now they've moved onto to bigger and better things. Like cat food. (??) They are itty bitty, but there are millions, bazillions, gajillions of them. I hate them. And they are coming to carry me off, I can hear their marching drums and teeny tiny war calls. To arms my comrades, to toxic Terro arms!

You might want to put the link to the music at the top of the post! since the music opens in another window, we could listen to the rising swell of drama as we read!

I don't know what Terro is, but those cookies, if thats what they are, look very inviting! I might just crawl in there my self for a bite of them. I guess you will have to keep everything, and I mean EVERYTHING in sealed plastic containers for a while, as your poison options work, to keep them from sniffing out good stuff in the future. That includes flour, salt, sugar, opened boxes of anything, etc etc almost to madness. Now how to train the cat and dog to eat ants???

I have read and heard of people having great success with putting baking soda around the perimeter of the house, especially paths leading to doors. If that doesn't work Uncle Mike puts Diazinan (SP???) around the perimeter of our house about every 4-6 weeks to keep the creepy-crawlies out. It works. When he doesn't we get a lot more spiders, ants, etc. Ah nature...don't you just love it...well at least, some of it!
